The Traveling Professor: Founders 250 Series

The Traveling Professor: Founders 250 Series is a monthly 12-part series, alternating locations between Plymouth Community Center and Plymouth History Center, with an overview of the American Revolution covering 1750 to 1850. This series will examine the most influential Founders, the Revolutionary War, the presidency of George Washington and the presidency of John Adams & Thomas Jefferson. The series will end with the stories of Eliza Hamilton and Dolley Madison, the last of the Founders who lived until 1850. David Johnston will be presenting this entire series as a historical re-enactor channeling George Washington in colonial era costume.

This month’s topic is The Peace of Paris and the Constitutional Convention.
